Pre-Wedding Photographer — Ahmedabad, Gujarat & India

A Day That Belongs
Only to You Two.

Before the guests arrive, before the rituals begin — a few unhurried hours to simply be with each other. That's a pre-wedding shoot with me.

Why Couples Choose a Pre-Wedding Shoot

It's Not About
Getting More Photos

Most couples book a pre-wedding shoot thinking it's just a way to get extra pictures. But what actually happens is something more valuable: by the time your wedding day arrives, you already know how to be together in front of my camera. The nervousness is gone. There's a comfort and ease between us — and that makes every photograph from your wedding day better.

A pre-wedding session is also, quite simply, a day off. No guests to greet, no schedules to keep, no responsibilities — just the two of you at a beautiful location, laughing, talking, being yourselves. I follow at a distance and document what's actually between you, not a performance of what you think I want to see.

The result? Images that look like how you actually feel about each other — not like a fashion editorial where two strangers happen to be well-dressed.

Pre-Wedding Shoot Locations — Gujarat & Beyond

Where Should
Your Story Unfold?

Gujarat is strikingly underrated for pre-wedding photography — and I've discovered some extraordinary spots that most photographers overlook. Here's where I love to shoot.

Adalaj Vav & Heritage Ahmedabad

The stepwells of Ahmedabad — Adalaj Vav, Dada Harir Vav — offer incredible geometric architecture and dramatic light at golden hour. The walled city's narrow pol lanes and wooden havelis are equally stunning for intimate couple portraits.

Rann of Kutch — White Desert

Nothing exists quite like the Rann at sunset. The vast, mirror-flat white salt desert reflects the sky in pinks and oranges — creating photographs that look impossible. Best visited November to February, and during the Rann Utsav festival.

Udaipur, Rajasthan

Two hours from Ahmedabad, Udaipur rewards every couple who chooses it. Lake Pichola at dusk, the palaces reflected in still water, narrow marble streets at blue hour — I know every corner of this city and where the best light falls.

Gir & Somnath — Saurashtra Coast

The Gir forest offers dense, moody greenery unlike anywhere else in Gujarat. Combine it with the dramatic coastline and ancient Somnath temple for a diverse, cinematic shoot across landscapes that most couples never think to use.

Champaner-Pavagadh, Vadodara

A UNESCO World Heritage Site that feels like a film set — ancient mosques, ruined palaces and the rocky landscape of Pavagadh Hill. Perfect for editorial-style, atmospheric couple portraits that stand apart from every other pre-wedding shoot.

Your Location — I Travel Anywhere

Already dreaming of Coorg's coffee plantations? Manali's snow? Goa's deserted beaches at dawn? Jaipur's pink palaces at dusk? Tell me where — I'll be there, camera in hand, ready to chase the light with you.

How a Pre-Wedding Shoot Actually Works

No Surprises.
Just Beautiful Hours.

01

We Connect First

A short call before anything is booked — so you can feel whether you like working with me. I also learn about your personalities, comfort levels, and any locations you've been dreaming about.

02

We Plan Together

Location, timing, outfit guidance, the kind of mood you want — I send you a style guide and we talk through the whole day so nothing feels like a surprise. I also visit locations in advance to scout light and angles.

03

The Day Itself

We meet, we walk, we talk. I give you gentle direction when needed — but mostly I stay back and let things happen naturally. You'll be laughing within 20 minutes. The best shots come in the moments between moments.

04

Your Gallery Arrives

Within 2–3 weeks, your fully edited, colour-graded, high-resolution gallery is delivered in a private online gallery — print-ready, download-ready, and perfect for wedding invitations.

Questions I'm Asked Most Often

Pre-Wedding Shoot FAQs —
Honest Answers

The first 20 minutes might feel a little strange — that's completely normal and honestly expected. But here's the thing: I never ask you to hold a pose or perform for the camera. I'll give you something to do — walk toward that archway, show me the inscription on that step, sit here and just talk for a bit — and by the time you look up, I've already taken 40 photographs. You forget about the camera faster than you think.

I'll send you a detailed outfit guide after booking — with colour palettes that work well at your chosen locations, what to avoid, and what photographs beautifully. Most couples bring 2 outfits: one traditional (lehenga, sherwani) and one more casual or western. I strongly recommend avoiding matching outfits — complementary colours look far more natural and cinematic.

Yes, for locations outside Ahmedabad there is a travel and accommodation component to the package — but it's always discussed transparently upfront, with no hidden costs. Many couples combine a Rann shoot with a nearby overnight trip, turning it into a mini pre-wedding getaway. I can help you plan that too.

Absolutely — that's one of the most popular reasons couples book a pre-wedding shoot! The delivered gallery is print-resolution, so your invitation designer can use any image directly. Many couples also use them for save-the-date cards, wedding websites and family WhatsApp announcements.

At least 2–3 months before your ideal shoot date, earlier if you want a popular location like Rann during peak season (November–February). If you're planning the shoot close to your wedding, earlier is always better so you have the photos ready for invitations and your wedding day décor.
